On April 30, 2024, Google took down the entire Big Tent Ketamine group without any warning. In an email, they gave the reason as “unwanted content”. We have no idea what prompted this unwelcome review – it may be that we are victims of “the algorithm”, or someone may have objected to posted content. Google offers very limited options for appeal, and suggested that the only recourse for us might be to sue them.
Because of this ban, you will no longer be able to post to the group, nor will you receive updates from the group. Please let your colleagues know.
The principals of Big Tent Ketamine are actively looking for a solution. It will likely involve moving off Google Groups and onto an altogether new platform. Please bear with us as we move forward. This is a very big piece of work that had been relegated to “future” status but now holds great immediacy.
